About Cutlass Bearings
We're an Australian-owned business stocking the full Exalto Standard Marine Range of cutlass bearings — manufactured in the United Kingdom and shipped out of our Melbourne warehouse.
About Exalto
Exalto is a British marine manufacturer whose Standard Marine Range
is the benchmark for water-lubricated cutlass bearings in the leisure and small-commercial
marine market. Every bearing we sell — phenolic, rubber, brass and GRP — is
manufactured in the United Kingdom to Exalto's long-standing OEM tolerances
and stamped with the recognisable IPSF, MPSF, MBSF
or MGSF part codes.
If you're replacing a bearing on a production boat (Jeanneau, Bénéteau, Catalina, Hunter, or any of the major Australian-built commercial vessels), there's a strong chance the bearing fitted from the factory was from this exact range. Pull the old bearing, read the part code off the side, type it into our search, and you have an exact replacement in minutes.
Why buy from us
- Genuine Exalto, made in the UK. We do not stock substitutes, generic copies, or other brands. Every bearing on this site is a genuine Exalto Standard Marine Range bearing manufactured in the United Kingdom.
- Australian stock. Most common sizes ship same-day from our Melbourne warehouse.
- No import duty, no currency conversion, no surprise freight. Prices are inc-GST in Australian dollars, and shipping is free Australia-wide on every order.
- Honest lead times. If a size isn't on our shelf we show it as "Dispatch 3–4 weeks" so you can plan your haulout around it, instead of finding out after you've paid.
- Real support. Email or call for sizing help. We'll walk you through measuring an existing bearing or a bare shaft and housing, and tell you exactly which Exalto part code to order.
How we source
We order direct from Exalto UK on regular containers. Because we're focused on this one product line, we hold deeper stock of the sizes Australian boat owners actually use, and we place restock orders often enough that lead times on out-of-stock items stay at a few weeks instead of months.
Every bearing we ship is a genuine Exalto bearing, manufactured in the United Kingdom and supplied through legitimate trade channels. We're an independent Australian reseller — we're not part of Exalto UK — but our supply chain runs straight from the factory to our Melbourne warehouse to your door.
