1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Cutlass Bearings website and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order you agree to these terms. They do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Products and availability

We make every effort to keep stock levels accurate, but inventory can change between the moment a page loads and the moment you check out. Where an item is shown as "Dispatch in 3–4 weeks", the order is accepted and held against our next incoming shipment. If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you immediately to offer a full refund or an alternative.

Product specifications (tolerances, dimensions) are published by the manufacturer. Always measure your existing bearing, shaft, and housing before ordering. If you're unsure, email us first.

3. Pricing and GST

All prices shown on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). A tax invoice is issued with every order for business customers.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Once we have accepted an order, the price on that order is locked in.

4. Payment

Payment is processed at the time of order. We do not hold or store your credit card details — all payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and direct bank transfer (for business customers on request).

5. Shipping

Shipping within Australia is free on all orders. See the Shipping and Returns page for handling times, carriers, and tracking.

We do not ship outside Australia through this website. Contact us for international quotes.

6. Returns and warranty

Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply to every purchase. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Change of mind. If you order the wrong size and the bearing is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging, we accept returns within 30 days for a refund minus a flat $25 to cover the original Express Post freight cost (even though shipping was free to you, we still paid the carrier). Return shipping back to us is at your cost.

Faulty goods. If a bearing is defective, email us with photos and the order number and we'll either replace it or refund it — your choice — and cover return shipping.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website (product descriptions, dimensional data, images, layout, code) is the property of Cutlass Bearings or its licensors. Product names, photos, and manufacturer material belong to their respective owners.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
